Good storage stability, electrical insulation and radiation resistance; Excellent oil and medium resistance; Good vacuum performance, can meet the needs of special occasions; Good heat resistance, usually can be used in 250℃ for a long time, 300℃ for a short time.
Type 26 fluorine rubber is mainly used for the preparation of rubber products with heat resistance, oil resistance and acid resistance. Such as seals, rubber hose, rubber pad and so on. The product can be used in 250℃ for a long time, 300℃ for a short time, its oil resistance is better than other varieties of fluorine rubber, can be used for the occasion of oil resistance parts. Examples are as follows: used as "○" ring, V-ring, oil seal bowl with metal frame, valve gasket, etc. These sealing materials can operate at 200 ~ 250℃ for long term and 300℃ for short term.
1. Oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance
Fluorosilicone rubber compared with methyl vinyl silicone rubber, its oil resistance, solvent resistance, chemical resistance is especially excellent; Even compared with fluorine rubber, oil and solvent resistance is good. In the same medium, temperature, time after dipping showed excellent durability, it can be said that fluorosilicone rubber is an elastomer resistant to non-polar media at -68℃ ~ 232℃. Fluorosilicone rubber resistance to methanol gasoline is also better, even in gasoline/methanol mixture system, the vulcanizate hardness, tensile strength, volume change is very small, after a long time of 500h immersion test, the physical properties are almost no change.
2. Heat resistance
The high temperature decomposition of fluorosilicone rubber is the same as that of silicone rubber, that is, side chain oxidation, main chain fracture, side chain thermal decomposition and cause a variety of complex reactions. Due to decomposition products will also cause the main chain fracture, so the heat resistance is usually worse than silicone rubber, at 200℃ has begun oxidative aging. However, by adding a small amount of heat stabilizers such as iron, titanium and rare earth oxides, it can be significantly improved and has sufficient heat resistance even at 250℃. The effect of temperature on silicone rubber is greater than silicone rubber, but smaller than fluorine rubber. The service life of fluorosilicone rubber at 150℃×2000h, 175℃×5000h, 200℃×4000h is also studied abroad, and the result is second only to methyl vinyl silicone rubber.
3. Cold tolerance
Fluorosilicone rubber and ordinary silicone rubber, low temperature performance is good. Because fluorosilicone rubber is a linear polymer composed of soft Si-O main chain, its low temperature characteristics are better than c-C main chain fluorosilicone rubber. Among them, fluorosilicone rubber (LS-2370U) has better low temperature characteristics, brittle temperature as low as -89℃, while the general fluorosilicone rubber is about -30℃.
4. Electrical performance and radiation resistance
The electrical properties of fluorosilicone rubber are similar to that of ordinary silicone rubber, but it is particularly valuable that the changes in high temperature, low temperature, humidity, oil, solvent, chemicals, ozone and other harsh conditions are very small. The radiation resistance of fluorosilicone rubber is not outstanding, but the radiation aging resistance is better than that of methyl vinyl silicone rubber.
5. Physical and mechanical properties
Fluorosilicone rubber and ordinary silicone rubber, vulcanizate mechanical strength (especially tear strength) is relatively low. Therefore, improving and improving the strength of fluorosilicone rubber is also an important research topic.
6. Other features
Fluorosilicone rubber has excellent weathering resistance and retains good properties even after 5 years of exposure. Ozone is a lot of gas generated when elastomer aging, but fluorosilicone rubber through dynamic or static tests have not been found cracking or cracking phenomenon. In addition, fluorosilicone rubber mildew resistance, physiological inertia, anticoagulant is also very good.
In the chemical industry: F26 seals are used in pumps, fittings, equipment containers to seal inorganic acids, organic substances and other chemicals.
In construction material manufacturing: F26 can be used as cement single bin pump sealing rubber ring, the service life of the sealing ring is about 10 times longer than that of natural rubber.
(3) 3# fluorine rubber has outstanding high temperature resistance, oil resistance, especially resistance to double ester oil, chemical resistance and good physical and mechanical properties, satisfactory dielectric properties, incombustible, weather resistance and excellent vacuum performance, radiation resistance; Usually can be used in 275℃ for a long time, in 320℃ for a short time; Oil resistance, acid resistance is better than 1# adhesive; Weather resistance, ozone resistance, radiation resistance, air permeability and electrical properties and fire resistance are similar to 2# adhesive. Widely used in aerospace, automobile, machinery, petrochemical and other fields.
